Brad Fellers, PGA Instructor
Owner, Brad Fellers Elite Services and Golf School of Indiana
Brad Fellers is the founding professional of the Golf School of Indiana. Brad has been a PGA Professional since December 1997 after graduating from New Mexico State University’s Professional Golf Management Program. After two private club head professional positions and a two-year stint as a playing professional, Brad turned his focus to teaching. In 2014, he received the Indiana PGA Teacher of the Year Award.
Brad’s first full-time teaching position came 12 years ago at Swan Lake Resort and the United States Golf Academy. While there, he continued his club fitting training by starting to use Doppler radar in the form of Trackman. In addition to club fitting experience, Brad worked with Bruce Rearick, the Director of Instruction at the United States Golf Academy and well known for his knowledge with the Science and Motion PuttLab.
Over the past 8 years, Brad has taught and fit clubs on the north side of Indianapolis at Wood Wind Golf Club and started the Golf School of Indiana at the Fort Golf Resort on the east side of Indianapolis. While at the Fort, he constructed the team of professionals that make up the Golf School of Indiana today. He annually teaches over 2,000 hours of appointments and helps numerous students, including college and mini tour players.
Brad’s competitive resume includes 12 Indiana Section PGA Titles highlighted by three Indiana PGA Championships ('02, '04, & '18). He has competed in 5 National PGA Events and has attended PGA Tour Qualifying (Q-School).
Brad likes to focus on defining a game plan, playing style, and swing sequence unique to each player. He has a heavy emphasis on shots inside 100 yards and course management. He believes players should know how to hit every kind of shot on the course (fade, draw, high, low) and not be afraid to use them when the time is correct.
Brad works with assistant instructors during most of his lessons. Assistants will start the lesson, getting the student warmed up and gathering information. Brad will join the lesson part way through and lead the instruction for the middle of the appointment. Towards the end of the appointment, Brad will direct the assistant how to conclude the appointment. This may involve drills, going to the course, or a skill assessment.

Jeff Friar, Instructor/Fitter
Golf School of Indiana
Jeff joined the staff at the Golf School of Indiana in 2022.
He started his game in 2005 as a hacker who couldn't shoot below 100 to save his life! As a natural athlete, he figured picking up golf would be as intuitive as the next sport. Thoroughly humbled, Jeff, set out to make golf his prime objective, spending thousands of hours contemplating every possible scenario to become better. His computer is filled with 1000’s of golf swings to study.
Jeff says, "I made all the mistakes and felt the frustration, but I stuck with it, and through diligent study, found my way. To accomplish something of this magnitude is beyond gratifying. I truly have empathy and compassion for those going through the struggles
I’ve been through but you don't have to go down every wrong road I did. I
am here to guide you, to keep you on track, and to get the best out of you in the shortest period of time. It would be my pleasure to guide you on this wonderful journey we call golf!"
Jeff's education includes attending the University of Southern Indiana and IUPUI. He studied at the Golf Academy of America with an emphasis in teaching, golf club repair, and club fitting, as well as the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Level II. He has taken the The Golfing Machine GSEB level II course to understand the physics and geometry of the golf swing.
